Teaching Positions

Vermont Academy regularly advertises for potential or expected teacher vacancies on the job boards managed by the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and the Association of Independent Schools in New England (AISNE).

Our teachers, staff and administrators are innovative and possess excellent interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and an enthusiasm for working with adolescents. They are a critical part of our residential life program, living in or serving as a dorm parent to one of the Academy’s dormitories. Other responsibilities include monthly weekend duty, coaching or supervising sports or activities, and serving as an academic advisor.

Along with teaching positions, we have a number of full time, part time, and leadership positions that are essential to keeping our school community a lively and successful one.
